Faux Woodcuts
&
Drawings
A series of faux woodcut using ink and brush. With this series of drawings, I play with achieving an authentic graphic woodcut look and feel with the fluid medium of ink and brush. A playful acrobatics of opposites. In some instances, images are appropriated and brought together from several pre-existing early 19th Century woodcuts. The faux woodcuts measure 40cm x 20cm. Paper 90cm x 65cm. I've also included a rag tag collection of some the other drawings I have done over the years.
